What Kind of Marathon Traveler Are You?

Apparently, I’m the kind that starts packing at 8:30 pm the night before leaving.  I’ve got a 9 am flight.

No matter, there’s always time for blogging.  There’s also always time for joggling.  I did one of my last ones before the London Marathon today.  3 miles, 23 minutes.  Just a bit slower than marathon pace.

Here’s a list of things you need to pack for an international marathon.

  1. Marathon entry information (I’m number 54,000 and something)
  2. Camera – and recharger (Canon SD450)
  3. Hat for balancing
  4. Rubber chicken
  5. Watch
  6. Gballz
  7. Sunglasses
  8. US/UK power adapter
  9. Wallet
  10. Deck of cards (for gin or euchre)
  11. DVD entertainment
  12. Issues of Runners World
  13. iPod
  14. Nintendo DS
  15. Running hat
  16. Under Armour – Shirt, pants, gloves
  17. Nail clipper
  18. Passport
  19. Clothes
  20. Sunscreen
  21. Reading material
  22. Writing material
  23. Computer
  24. Money
  25. Puzzle book & brain training cards
  26. Ibuprofen
  27. Extra juggling stuff
  28. French language dictionary
  29. Juggle magazine
  30. Extra contact lenses

Ok.  I’m tired now.  I still have to drink all the milk, make eggs, and eat all the fruit so these things don’t spoil while I’m gone.

Can’t wait to get on that plane.

Joggle on.
