Joggling Journal – Streak Day 43

On a quest to joggle at least one mile every day for 1000 days in a row.

Weather: 40 F, gray & cloudy

Distance: 4.79 mi Crate & Barrel loop

Time: 3:42 pm

Run time: 37:24

Listening to: Skepticality

Condition: Felt strong, slight shin pain.

Summary: One of my favorite juggling runs of the streak. I felt strong and had at least 4 people audibly cheer for me. One person, who I didn’t recognize, yelled out my name. “Way to joggle Perry!” That made me smile. Still, I should start using new shoes.

  1. I had a great, strong Joggle today too. Did some trail joggling in the woods, awesome weather too. It’s peaceful joggling in the woods, and the branches hanging over the path make it fun to toss a high one over. Also, experimented with doing some heavy ball joggling in 1/2 mile spurts-pretty tough! Should help my endurance for the marathon, I hope.

  2. Definitely try trail joggling, if you can find the chance in Chi town area. It’s a neat feeling, harmonious and fresh. Nature and an evolved sport, it’s a neat combo. And completely random, if you come across someone in the woods.
