Joggling Journal – Running Streak Day 62

On a quest to joggle at least one mile every day for 1000 days in a row.

Summary: It was a good joggling run today. The weather has warmed up a bit and there are some patches of clear sidewalks. Joggling on snowy, slippery sidewalks is getting frustrating. I think tomorrow I’m going to do a minimal run as I need a break.

Weather: 15 F and sunny. Noticeably less cold (but still cold)

Distance: 3.44 mi – Elston loop

Time: 12:50 pm

Run time: 29:56

Listening to: Skepticality

Weight: 193 lbs

Drops: 2 – Hit a sign when trying to throw it over.

Condition: Felt pretty sore and weak. I’m ready to be running in warmer weather.

  1. I think we have you beat in Iowa – we hit 23 degrees today! The snow and ice is VERY frustrating, but we’re going to try and make a go of it this weekend after we hopefully have two days of near-40 degree weather this week.

  2. Perry,
ended my non joggling streak today. Must be something like 100 days. (Except for the one slip I had when I did a 5km funrun over Xmas.)

I’ve been too busy unicycling, which is something you got me interested in.
I’m training for an upcoming uni race in Cape Town over 109km in March, and decided I must start doing some cross training again.
You blogged that unicycling is good cross training for joggling, and I’ve started joggling again as crosstraining for uni.;)

    Keep the joggling streak going.
