Running and Juggling Streak – Day 124

124th day of a quest to joggle at least one mile every day for 1000 days in a row.

Summary: A gorgeous day for joggling so I was able to be outside without bundling up too much. This was a recovery run for me because I was out a bit too long yesterday and drank a few too many beers. I’m already two months ahead of myself in my ‘beer year’. My beer year is based on my goal of the number of beers that I’m allowing myself this year. I’m only supposed to have 1 per day or 365 for the entire year. Right now, I’m at June 6th in my beer year. That will require a significant break from beer drinking to catch up to myself.

Goals like this can be motivating. Sure, you might seem a bit odd to the jugglingbeerpeople around you because you keep track of the number of beers you drink, sodas you drink, push-ups, miles, time spent juggling, etc. but you’ll always be motivated by your goal. Joggling every day for 1000 days is an excellent, motivating goal for me. Do you have a motivating goal?
