Joggling Streak Journal – Day 58

On a quest to joggle at least one mile every day for 1000 days in a row.

Summary: Today, I used my workout as transportation to the blood donor center. It’s a goal to donate blood twice this year and I figured I’d get 50% done early. Not sure if donating blood is a great idea during marathon training, so I do it early. It probably isn’t a problem but I don’t know.

Sidewalks were treacherous. Joggling through snow drifts is tough!

Weather: 14F. Sunny but cold!

  1. Did you Run Home too?
I almost blacked out in college because I played racquetball the evening after donating blood.

  2. I ran home about 1.25 miles and took the bus for 0.75 miles. Fortunately, I didn’t pass out. Fell asleep pretty quick that night however.
