Joggling Journal – Streak Day 97

Day 97 of a quest to joggle at least one mile every day for 1000 days in a row.

Summary: I know this was a recovery run but it was just terrible. I have no clue how it could take me a full 3 minutes longer to finish than just two days ago. Yes, I am still pretty sick and have even been reduced to taking cold medicine, but come on!

Well, when you are not running your best you need to remember to forgive yourself. As my old teach Mrs. Kallick was fond of saying…”Everyone is doing the very best they can at any given moment.” Yes, near 10 minute miles are not impressive. But joggling is still fun even when sick and slow.
